Until further notice, all operations are now being conducted under Part IX of the Canadian Aviation Regulations. Pilots must hold a Small RPAS Pilot certificate for Basic Operations and all aircraft must be registered through Transport Canada. The prior system of marking with MAAC numbers is no longer compliant.
This should not overly impact flight operations but all pilots must now ensure they are compliant. More information is available through club communication channels.
